Paige Goldstein

Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Paige Goldstein and I work in tech sales in the e-commerce space at a company called Postscript. We work with Shopify brands on their text marketing! I have been fully remote for the 2 years I've been at the company and have taken advantage of this and gone full in on digital nomad life. I started my digital nomad journey in Australia and have since worked in Hawaii, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Greece, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Italy, Montenegro, and Croatia. I have a podcast called Fill your Sol where we talk about how to find your passions, escape the typical 'norm' lifestyle, find remote work, and travel tips! We have guests on from all over the world to share their stories!

What did it take/how did you get started?

I worked all 4 years of college exploring different industries and jobs until I found a space that made me excited and I felt I excelled in. One of my jobs in college I worked at during covid I started without getting paid - strictly for experience and that truly proved my value and willingness to do whatever it takes to learn.

What does the future look like for you and your business?

I plan to focus on my Fill your Sol Podcast and work to continue the international reach and collab with like-minded brands, hotels, airlines, websites and apps related to travel and remote work!

What drives / motivates you on a daily basis?

I want to help people find their passions, escape the typical 9-5 norm and encourage them to travel the world!

What advice would you give someone interested in doing what you do?

I would advise they just start. No one is ever fully ready and doing it is the hardest part. Once you start, consistency is key. The hard work and long term effort will pay off in the end. Also, don't forget to enjoy the journey. If we get too fixated on the final goal and destination we miss all of the good and learnings along the way.

What has been the hardest part of your business journey?

The rejection is the hardest part. In order to grow and make mutually beneficial collabs and partnerships you will be told no a ton of times. The consistency is crucial here, because the right partners and opportunities will come in time.

How have you managed burnout thus far?

Taking breaks and using PTO is important! Work burn out is real and often times vacation actually makes me more refreshed, creative, and excited to get back to work.

What are a few resources that you'd recommend?
