Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Gavin. I’m 22, and I founded Envyless—a trifecta of businesses spanning media, investments, and community. Through Envyless Media, I produce high-level event and commercial content, helping brands showcase their vision with precision and impact.

I move fast, take strategic action, and refine along the way—because momentum matters more than over-planning. I document my journey and share insights on business, mindset, and execution on Instagram under Simply Gavin. My approach is simple—act, adapt, and make things happen.

What did it take/how did you get started?

I began my journey in 2018 by launching Envyless as a clothing brand aimed at addressing envy among men, featuring V-tapered shirts that accentuated attractive male features. With a limited marketing budget, a friend and I took on the challenge of promoting the brand ourselves and discovered a passion and talent for media creation.

This experience led me to pivot Envyless into a media production company, specializing in full video commercial campaigns for international franchises and luxury brands. And now, we're actively involved in investments, and additional business avenues. My journey has been about taking decisive action, learning from each endeavor, and continually refining my approach to achieve sustained growth and success.

What does the future look like for you and your business?

The future for me and Envyless is about scaling strategically. I’m focused on landing bigger event and commercial projects, expanding our client base, and building a strong operational structure to handle larger productions efficiently. I also want to refine our processes so we can take on more work without sacrificing quality.

Beyond media, I’m continuing to build the investment and business side of Envyless, creating long-term stability and growth. It’s about taking the right steps now so everything keeps evolving in the right direction. Volume and stress testing right now is the move.

What drives / motivates you on a daily basis?

God, the opportunity money opens, and my woman.

What advice would you give someone interested in doing what you do?

Do the thing that gets you business, not the image of the business. A world class painting can't be appreciated or bought if it's still hanging in your living room. Go act in the right places.

What has been the hardest part of your business journey?

Skillset building initially, then having the right team, and now stress testing by volume.

How have you managed burnout thus far?

It's taken time to get better at managing it, yet I'd say trusting God with anxieties of outcomes, and practicing time-blocking

What are a few resources that you'd recommend?

Atomic Habits book, 48 Laws of Power book, God, curating your feed with intentional content and scrolling, always asking for feedback with quick implementation/testing, and trusting your gut.
