I’m Nick Costache, an entrepreneur and college student who’s passionate about business and always looking to learn and grow. I got into business about a year ago when I started with dropshipping and launched an Amazon store. That first store didn’t succeed, but it taught me that eCommerce isn’t as simple as just selling things online—it’s a lot more complex than it seems. After that, I launched GlowBrush, which was my most successful venture so far.
Even with that, it wasn’t always easy to run successful ads and consistently sell products, but the experience taught me a lot about persistence and problem-solving. What keeps me motivated is the drive to be the most successful businessperson I can be. Whether it’s achieving financial success or being someone people look up to in the business world, I’m determined to make an impact. My long-term goal is to build businesses that grow and thrive while also inspiring others to chase their own success.
GlowBrush was my most successful business venture so far, generating $11,000 in total revenue. It focused on selling a unique hairbrush that stood out in the market. The idea was to provide something innovative that customers would find valuable, and it worked well in terms of sales and customer interest.
That said, it wasn’t always easy—I had to figure out how to run successful ads and consistently drive sales. Even with those challenges, the experience was incredibly rewarding. It taught me the importance of marketing, understanding your audience, and adapting to overcome obstacles.
I’m no longer working on GlowBrush, but the experience I gained from it has been invaluable in shaping how I approach my career. Right now, I’m focused on growing and learning through new opportunities. I’m working on a new website called HowlToBiz, which aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting and running a business. I’m also looking for internships and other ways to stand out, applying the skills I’ve learned along the way. My goal is to continue growing as an entrepreneur and position myself for long-term success in the business world.
What drives me is the desire to be the most successful businessperson I can be. Whether that success is measured by financial accomplishments or by becoming someone others look up to, I’m motivated to keep pushing forward.
My advice is to stay persistent and treat setbacks as learning opportunities. Focus on understanding your audience and improving your marketing. Success takes time, but with patience and a willingness to adapt, you’ll make progress.
The hardest part of starting my business was learning how to run successful ads and consistently sell products. It’s not as simple as just listing items online—figuring out what works takes time, patience, and constant adjustments. Those challenges, though tough, have been some of the most valuable learning experiences.
I haven’t experienced burnout from business so far. I think that’s because I enjoy what I do and find the challenges exciting rather than overwhelming.
I’d recommend the Shopify blog. It’s packed with practical tips and insights for anyone interested in starting or growing an eCommerce business.
