Who are you and what do you do?
I'm Eric Nguyen, dropped out of college at the age of 21, started my own personal training business in my own garage and working at Disneyland part-time. Once COVID-19 hit, got laid off and created my own Email Marketing Agency to help e-commerce business generate 20-30% extra revenue.
What did it take / how did you get started?
Ever since I got laid off from Disney due to COVID-19, there was no work, so I had to learn from youtube how to find other ways to make money such as dropshipping, email marketing, etc.
What does the future look like for you and your hustle?
The future is building a key relationship with my clients and making sure my clients are happy making extra money. My hustle is to work with freedom by the time I'm 30. As in I don't have to use all my time of what I'm doing right now for all my clients.
What drives / motivates you?
To live in abundance and that money is everywhere. We have to learn how to be better than yesterday. Ask yourself did we do something today that was better than yesterday? If not how can we improve and how can I do it. It's never "What". It's the "How."
What advice would you give someone interested in doing what you do?
May sound cliche but it's true. Learn and apply every day. Don't just learn and apply over the weekends. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. You have to keep adapting of what's going on today/now. It's a never-ending journey of learning. That's the journey of building a business.
What has been the hardest part of the hustle?
Sacrificing my time, family, relationships.
What are a few resources that you'd recommend?
A book called Overdeliver by Brian Kurtz. I'd definitely recommend to read that book over and over until it gets in your head.
